Herban Empire is an alternative-reggae band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their smooth reggae rhythms combined with solid guitar and vocal harmonies give them a unique and refreshing sound that is sure to please. Band members Andrew Cole (vocals/guitar), Adam Lenkowski (vocals/guitar), and Skip Hardy (drums) met while attending college at the University of Utah and started jamming together in 2008. Skip's brother Zach grew up watching Herban Empire perform at local venues and eventually became the bass player when the need arose. Herban Empire has released a five-song self-titled EP that was recorded with Matt Winegar. The group has plans to release another album in December 2019. You can catch the band performing in the Salt Lake City area at venues such as Snowbird, A Bar Named Sue, reggae nights at The Royal, The Urban Lounge, and The State Room.
They have also been a part of the Reggae Rise Up Utah Festival from 2016 through 2019, which features today's best reggae artists including Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, Sublime w/Rome, Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, and many more.
This event is for ages 21+ (I.D. required).
