We had three storms roll through Solitude last week, dropping 60 inches of snow over the course of several days. Skiers and riders have been doing their best to pack down all the new snow, but there is still plenty of fluff out there. Search around and you will find deep pockets even on front side terrain, and the packed powder groomers are soft as can be. Today should be a great day for playing in leftover powder from the last week and catching rope drops into untracked terrain. Temperatures will climb through the single digits to a high of around 11. The skies will be cloudy with snow showers likely. Ikon Pass holders get to ride Link, Moonbeam, and Apex at 8:30 a.m. today.
