Solitude bike park
Solitude Bike Park opened during the fall of 2023 with four new downhill mountain bike trails designed by Gravity Logic! The first year added 6 miles of new trails and consists of a green freeride trail, a blue freeride trail, a blue technical trail, and a black technical trail. All four trails will be accessed via Moonbeam Express. Trail work will continue over the next few summers. Don’t worry about schlepping your gear. High-quality Trek and Norco bike rentals for kids and adults are available at the Moonbeam base area.

What to expect (Summer 2024)
Solitude Bike Park is open, and phase 1 building has resumed. New trails being built this summer include a blue jump trail, black jump trail, and double black technical trail. Solitude Bike Park is open 7 days a week through Labor Day, and will remain open Friday - Sunday until October 6. Solitude Bike Park will be closed July 18-21 for Total Archery Challenge.

Mountain Bike Classes
Let Solitude's mountain bike coaches take your riding to the next level. Or, if you're new to mountain biking, we'd love to get you started. Our mountain bike classes are available for participants age 9 and up and can deliver coaching on basic fundamentals, advanced techniques, and everything in between.

Some sections of these new trails are under construction. While trail crews work to complete the new trails a detour may be in place. Refer to on-mountain signage for navigation, usage, and safety instructions. Visit our webcams page or YouTube channel for live feeds of the Moonbeam lift line and Moonbeam parking lot.

The use of e-bikes currently is not permitted at Solitude. Helmets are required on lifts, trails, and during lessons for all biking activities at Solitude. Check the Mountain Report daily for updated lift and trail status. Conditions are expected to remain dynamic throughout the summer as trail building continues. Mountain Biker's Responsibility Code
