The Solitude Big Mountain Team is a season-long non-competitive program for skiers ages 10 through 18. Students train for and pursue high-end, all-mountain skiing on Saturdays and/or Sundays. This program provides kids the chance to refine their skills in a fun environment with the goal of creating well-rounded athletes who understand and display sportsmanship, teamwork, and mountain etiquette. Areas of emphasis include off-piste freeskiing, moguls, steeps, trees, and mountain awareness.

To join the team, members must be able to ski expert runs safely and be capable of carving aggressive turns in a parallel stance. Our coaching staff applies IFSA, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Freeski Training System, SkillsQuest, and PSIA methodologies.
