The Yurt Details
- The Yurt experience is approximately 3 ½ to 4 hours. Guests start their adventure in Solitude Village at 5:00 PM and generally return to the village by 8:30 PM
- Dining at The Yurt is a fun, friendly, and social experience. Seating takes place at long tables with other guests.
- There is no running water at The Yurt. Portable restrooms are available outside.
- Dinner at The Yurt features a prix fixe, four-course meal.
- Chefs decide the menu daily and prepare locally-sourced ingredients.
- You may request dietary accommodations during checkout, before payment.
- Purchase includes: Snowshoe tour, multi-course meal, and tax.
- Guests may bring their own bottle of wine with a $20 corkage fee.
- Price does not include corkage fees, gratuity, soft drinks, and additional alcohol.
- Guests must be 14 or older.
- Please email yurt@solitudemountain.com at least 72 hours prior to your reservation to inform staff about special occasions or seating preferences.
GETTING TO THE YURT
- Guests arrive at The Yurt via a guided snowshoe tour. The tour is approximately ½ mile and suitable for all experience levels. A Solitude employee will provide all the necessary instructions upon arrival.
- Dress warm and in layers. Wear waterproof boots, boot gaiters, hats, gloves, and snow-appropriate outerwear.
- Arrive at 5:00 PM under the clock tower in Solitude Village, Entry 2, off Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. All parking at Solitude is free after 1:00 PM. Please arrive on time for prompt departure after snowshoe fitting takes place. The group will leave no later than 5:30 PM.
- Motorized transport to The Yurt is available for guests who do not want to take the snowshoe tour.
