Solitude’s avalanche rescue dogs provide a life-saving service to our guests and the surrounding community. These highly-trained canines specialize in search and rescue, always ready in case of avalanche emergencies across the Wasatch Front. Watch some of their training drills, conducted at Apex Express, where Solitude's avalanche rescue dogs and their ski patrol handlers practice seeking out volunteers buried in the snow.
Solitude's cats groom the mountain daily to provide the product that guests love to ski and ride on. Join Solitude groomers in a tour of a grooming cat and take rides up Easy Street in our classic Tucker.
